Teen Summer Reading

For all students, entering grade 6 through Spring 2019 high school graduates.

Welcome to the Northville District Library Teen Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme, Universe of Stories, encourages you to explore the stories everywhere around you—find the sci-fi in the stars, the realistic fiction or magical realism in day-to-day life, and more!

All Northville students entering 6th grade through spring 2019 high school graduates are eligible to register for the Teen Summer Reading Program.

Reading and Activity Logs: Registration for our Summer Reading Program can be done at the library’s downstairs reference desk beginning June 14th (Friday), and will allow you to receive prizes for reading throughout the summer, as well as earn tickets for the raffle at our Summer Reading Finale Tie-Dye Party August 9th (Friday). Each of the three reading logs participants receive when they register for Northville’s Teen Summer Reading Program must be redeemed in numerical order, at least one week apart.

Teen Events: As well as encouraging you to read fantastic books, there will be events throughout the summer. Sign-up for SRP events begins June 1st (Saturday), and is required for all events unless otherwise noted.

Further information and a list of events can be found on the library’s Teen Events page.
