Summer Reading June 11 – August 7
Your Summer Reading journey begins on Friday, June 11. Grab a Reading Log from our newsletter or at the Library, print one from our website, or download READsquared. Read 600 minutes this summer and win a prize, along with an entry into our Grand Prize Drawing. Every time you read or are read to for 15 minutes, cross out or color-in an animal. Once your Reading Log is complete, turn it in at the Information Desk.
Logs must be turned in by Saturday, August 7 to be eligible for prizes.
Posters Displayed Weekly from Monday, June 14 – Saturday, July 31 Submit Answer Sheet from Monday, August 2 – Saturday, August 7 Each week during Summer Reading, come to the Library’s Youth Room to learn about animal heroes throughout history and win prizes! Get an answer sheet at the Information Desk and fill out the answers from our Animal Hero of the Week posters. Turn the answer sheet in during PAW: Pet Adoption Week (August 2-7) to win a small prize. In addition, each correct answer gets an entry to win the grand prize.
Weekly from Monday, June 14 – Friday, August 6 Throughout the Summer Reading Program, come to the Library for a chance to win a box of prizes! Each week we will put out a clear box filled with toys and other prizes. Guess how many items are in the box, and the closest guess wins all of the prizes inside. Guesses must be submitted in the box at the Information Desk by 5 pm each Friday.
Weekly from Monday, June 14 – Friday, August 6 Throughout the Summer Reading Program, kids can enter to win a weekly prize by completing a book report and emailing it to email@example.com, or turn it in at the Library. Book report forms can be picked up at the Library or printed from our website. Downloadable Book Report.
