The Detroit House of Correction (DeHoCo) started in Detroit in 1861 and moved to Northville and Plymouth Townships in the 1920s and 1930s.
This is the story of Detroit’s main prison for men (Plymouth Township) and Michigan’s only prison for women only (Northville Township) and its successor, the Scott Correctional Facility which closed in 2009.
This event will be held in the Assembly Room which has a seating capacity of 140.
