Armenian Genocide Remembrance
Join us for a program on Armenian Culture, Music and History with Mihran Kochyan. There will be a lecture about the Armenian Genocide (1895-1924) through present time. Also, Armenian musical instruments like the Duduk (3,000 year old clarinet), Oud (inspired by the 16th great grandson of Adam and Eve), Guitar, and Dumbeg ( a goblet drum) will be showcased. Will discuss rhythms, key signatures, and how each ties in with history.
