Northville District Library Card Contest Digital Entries will be accepted from Sunday, September 1 - Monday, October 14

The Northville District Library is running an all-ages art contest during September’s Library Card Signup Month to select two new designs for our library cards! Participants are encouraged to submit their best designs highlighting the library’s services, collections, events, what they enjoy most about the library, or reading in general.

One winner will be selected from each group:

  • Youth ages 3 - 17
  • Adults ages 18+

Each winner’s artwork will be featured on a new library card that will be available in the winter. Winners will be notified and recognized in the Winter 2024-2025 print newsletter.

Submissions will be accepted in digital format only between Sunday, September 1, and Monday, September 30. Limit one entry per person, please.

  • The artist must be a resident of either the City of Northville or Northville Township and be a library cardholder in good standing. You can get a library card by visiting NDL in person at the checkout desk with a valid State ID or Driver’s License, or click here to apply online for a temporary card.
  • Content must be appropriate for all ages.
  • Submissions must stay within the dimensions included in the instructions below.

Jurying and Selection

The winning designs will be printed on a new batch of Northville District Library cards this coming winter.
