If you&#8217;re interested please see the details below:<\/p>\n<p><b>Position:<\/b> \u00a0  <b>MakeIT Assistant &#8211; Part Time<\/b><\/p>\n<b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b> <b>10 to 20 Hours per week<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b> Hours will include one evening per week and at least one Saturday per month.<br \/>\n<b>Pay Rate:<\/b>\u00a0 \u00a0 $13.76\/hr to start\n<p><b>Essential Duties Include:<\/b><b>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Answer questions and job requests from makerspace patrons, referring to other Library departments as necessary.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Assist running various job requests using the Library&#8217;s Makerspace equipment.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Perform basic equipment maintenance.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Assist library patrons with use of Digital Conversion equipment (VCR, 8mm, Audio, Slides, Pictures, etc).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Assist library patrons with use of Makerspace equipment (3D printer, laser cutter\/engraver, sublimation printer, vinyl plotter, sewing and embroidery machine, etc).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Other work duties as assigned by the supervisor.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Demonstrable aptitude in using and explaining the usage of Makerspace equipment.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Strong familiarity with Windows, Apple, Android, Office, Google, and other popular computing and mobile technologies and environments.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Strong communication skills, including ability to adapt to a variety of age groups and experience levels to provide effective support and guidance.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Patient, friendly and approachable demeanor.
