Volunteer at Your Library

There are many ways adults and teens can volunteer at the Library. Opportunities range from volunteering on an occasional basis through the Friends of the Library, or becoming a regular volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering, download the application below and return it to the Information Desk at the Library. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted when a volunteer opportunity arises.

Adult Volunteer Application

Regular Library Volunteer
Volunteers are generally scheduled for one day per week for approximately two hours. Volunteers work closely with staff and help with a variety of tasks ranging from processing new materials, data entry, correcting records on the computer, assisting with shelving projects and general clerical duties.

Short Term Volunteer
Satisfy Community Service requirements (2 – 10 hours). We must receive your application at least three weeks before your required completion date. We cannot guarantee the availability of volunteer hours. On your application, be sure to indicate the deadline for completion of your hours and how many hours are required.
