4th and 5th Graders, join us the last Wednesday of each month during the school year at the Northville District Library to talk about good books, meet friends and have treats! Sign up for each discussion the first of each month. Discussions held in Meeting Room A from 4:15 pm - 5:00 pm.

After Reynie Muldoon responds to an advertisement recruiting "gifted children looking for special opportunities," he finds himself in a world of mystery and adventure. The 11-year-old orphan is one of four children to complete a series of challenging and creative tasks, and he, Kate, Constance, and Sticky become the Mysterious Benedict Society. After being trained by Mr. Benedict and his assistants, the four travel to an isolated school where children are being trained by a criminal mastermind to participate in his schemes to take over the world. The young investigators need to use their special talents and abilities in order to discover Mr. Curtain's secrets, and their only chance to defeat him is through working together. |

But Mike must learn to "speak" the language of cats to gain wily Rachet's trust in this intriguing story that explores the wonder of friendship and the natural world hiding among us. |

By solving a series of word games and puzzles, and passing physical challenges, he reaches the finals, where he must outshine four others, including an ex-classmate who may be cheating. Gil has further motivation to win with hopes of lifting the dark cloud hovering over his family ever since his father was wrongly accused of embezzling from the company. |
