Writing Your Life Story Group
Are you full of stories you want to share with your family? Preserve your family heritage by writing about them each month. Join this writer's group which meets monthly and is moderated by Northville Genealogical Society Member, Tillie Van Sickle.
Meets the second Thursday of each month October 14 through June.  1 pm - 2:30 pm

1906 Victorian Tea ReadingThe Victorians loved tea leaf reading and so will you! Drink tea and learn about some of the common symbols found in your teacup from Detroit Historical Society Guild Member Marguerite Humes. Please bring a round bottom teacup to the program.

The History of Eloise

A fascinating presentation about Eloise, one of the largest mental health hospitals in the country formerly located in Westland. Jo Johnson, Westland Historical Commission member, discusses Eloise and the events that led to its closing. This program is part of the Neighborhood Library Association's Community Read Program for Fall 2010.
