RECEIVE NOTICES BY E-MAIL OR TEXT:
We can notify you by e-mail when an item you have placed on hold becomes available or if you’d like to be reminded that items you have checked out are due soon.
To sign up for e-mails:
Give your e-mail address to the Circulation staff next time you visit the library or e-mail Judy McIntosh, Head of Circulation. Please be sure to include the following information in the email: Patron Name, Library Card #, and E-Mail Address.
To sign up for hold or overdue notifications via text messages:

Click on Text Message Notification then Add Phone. Choose a name for the Phone Label section. This can be anything to identify the number such as Mary’s Phone or Cell Phone. Enter the 10 digit number you want the notifications to go to without using spaces or dashes. Finally, be sure to check the Hold Pickup Notice box.
Please note: Text messaging may not start for up to 24 hours after entering your information.
To remove text contact information, login to your account. Click on Text Notification. Check the Remove Phone Number box for the contact number you wish to remove. Be sure to save your changes. You will then return to receiving hold notices by your previous method of notification.
